Check out this new little bit of gear.  It takes the place of a micro pulley as a slack tender for your prusik.  It may not have the efficiency of a pulley, which is negligible in this application anyway, but it sure makes for a compact, streamlined, lightweight set up.  Coming soon to Treegear!
